Description Of Work:
The entire exterior of our 4500 sq. ft. home plus tool shed was washed, cleaned, meticulously prepped and then painted and stained. We opted for a "lifetime" paint on painted surfaces for an additional $600.

We actually received 3 separate bids for the job. Although Brad's bid was a bit higher, we went with him, because of his crew's excellent reputation on Angie's List. We were not disappointed in the least. His large crew worked exceedingly hard and well for the entire job from start to finish. Our cedar shingles were completely washed clean a few weeks earlier, then they worked solid 12+ hours/day for another 4 1/2 days to complete the job. Seth was an exceedingly diligent crew chief. They all were very pleasant and professional. They cleaned up everything each night before going home. They all came in one large van, so there were not multiple vehicles parked outside, and no one left until the day's job was done. Brad did some final inspections and had any minor flaws fixed before leaving. The house looks brand new! Actually, the house looks better than brand new, since the original prep and paint job on our home in 1996 was marginal, a common flaw for new construction.

Description Of Work:
They completely refinished solid oak kitchen cabinets and counters, sealed and painted heavily water stained tongue-in-groove ceilings, painted the entire house, including all walls, ceilings, 19 doors, 9 windows, and a damaged front door.

Brad Bernard and his crew did more than paint our house; they made it look completely new! They painted our ceilings/walls and completely refinished our kitchen cabinets. Mr. Bernard is a master painter who expects as much of his crew as he does himself. He provided good counsel before painting began and monitored all aspects of the work being done. His skill with color, knowledge of paint, attention to detail, and attention to customer satisfaction truly sets him apart. Brad Bernard's company is very busy for the reasons listed above; however, the results convinced us that he was well worth the wait. Brad didn't provide us with the least expensive bid, but neither was it the most expensive. Hiring this company to do our painting was the best investment of our remodeling efforts! We recommend him without reservation.

Description Of Work:
Brad's crew painted 4 bedrooms ceilings and walls, living room and dining room, entryway, front door, 2 bathrooms and ceilings in kitchen. There was some damage on the ceiling (plaster missing) and some wall paper residue in 3 rooms.

They did an excellent job, the crew lead by Bob, they showed up on time every day and worked until the job was done, they found things they did not like after completing a room and went back and fixed it without me even asking. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone. I would ask for Bob and his crew, they were great.

Description Of Work:
My neighbor and I contracted with Bernard Painting to come out and paint the exterior of both of our homes. The work included pressure washing the exterior, purchase of paint, painting (both spray and brushing) 2 coats of paint on all exterior plus trim and clean up. My home also included painting my storage shed to match the house.

Mr. Bernard's crew painted both homes in two days. They showed up on time. They were fast, efficient, and did a very fine job. No errors were made on the colors we picked, and they listened and put the trim colors exactly where we wanted. They did an excellent job of protecting the surrounding plants and anything else that was not to be painted. They did an excellent job of clean up. Both homes look great and both my neighbor and I are extremely pleased with the work. Plus, other people in the cul-de-sac were very impressed with their work and with the way both houses turned out. I will go back to this company again and I have no problem in recommending them as their work is excellent.

Description Of Work:
Brad's crew painted 6 rooms and refinished 6 wood window sills that had water damage. They also sanded and touched up exterior paint that had blisters (by another painter).

The crew came when they said they would, stayed on the job for several days until it was finished. They were efficient and pleasant to deal with. They did an excellent job except that I did need to call them back to redo one thing. They came promptly, did the work, and I was not charged extra.

Description Of Work:
Power Washed the roof. Painted the house.

Brad had the bid to me in 1 day. It has been rainy all spring but they worked around the rain. They started by powerwashing the roof. This was a hard job because the roof is very steep. They also washed the siding. They caulked all of the doors and seams. They scraped and sanded all of the loose paint. They primed all of the areas with bare wood. They put on two coats of paint, using a spray gun and then a roller. Every member of the six man crew was very courteous. The cleanup after the job was excellent.
