Our team will help bring your faded old deck back to life! We start by applying deck stripper to the deck surface. After about 15 minutes we scrub the surface with large brushes, then lightly wash off the residue. We will repeat this process as needed and the deck will be allowed to dry for at least 2 days, depending on the weather conditions. The next step is to countersink any nail heads or drive in any protruding screws. Next we will sand the deck surface with a large sander to remove any stain residue followed by smaller hand-held sanders to remove any scratches left by the large sander.
At this point the deck should have a like new appearance to it with the hue of the original cedar deck wood. After sweeping or blowing off the deck surface and making sure everything looks alright, we will apply Deckscapes semi-transparent oil-based stain to the deck surface. We've found that this product lasts longer than any other product like it on the market. It should look good for a minimum of two years.
Once we have finished with the application process and our cleanup is done, you will have a better than new deck!
